Welcome To The 32nd Butlocks Heath Scouts Website

We hope, that through this website, you will learn about our group, what we stand for and how we provide for the needs of the local community

32nd Butlocks Heath Scouts is a well established group. We run our groups from the community hall within Butlocks Heath and have a Beaver, Cub and Scout groups. Having the three groups allows us the opportunity to offer the children a complete scouting experience and therefore the full benefits of the Scouting Organisation.

OUR AIM

" Throughout the time the children are with us, our aim is to inspire them, encourage them and to develop self worth and self belief. We actively encourage teamwork and the development of friendships. We aim to challenge the children so that they can develop new skills and abilities, but most of all, we want them to enjoy themselves and to have fun! "

Our group was registered on 24th January 1977 and has links back to the founder of the scouting movement "Baden Powell". We currently have a very strong leadership team and an active committee. We believe strongly in fundraising to provide funds for the group to allow the Beavers, Cubs & Scouts to be able to experience many varied activities, whilst keeping the fees necessary to run the group to a minimum. We are, after all, a charity run entirely by volunteers, so all the funds raised are used to provide as much as we can for our members.

So, please feel free to explore our site. If you have any questions you can send us an e-mail. Any e-mails received are reviewed and wherever possible we will do our best too answer any questions you may have.
